The number of participants in the workshop is strictly limited to 40 (including invited speakers and organization). Please visit the registration page for more info.
The workshop will consist in both Oral and Poster
contributions. We require to submit an extended abstract together with
the registration form (more details here).
There will be a beamer
available for multimedia projections as well as an overhead projector
for conventional slides.
Poster presentations must be prepared taking into account that the
maximum size of the poster is equivalent to DIN-A0 format in portrait mode
(i.e. 840mm width-1188mm height).
The workshop will be held in the Institute of Microelectronics of Madrid. The institute is located in Tres Cantos, which is around 25 Km. north from Madrid. To reach Tres Cantos we recommend either to take a taxi or to use the Underground(METRO)-Suburban Train(Cercanias Renfe) combination.
Taking a taxi at Madrid-Barajas International Airport is the fastest way to reach Tres Cantos. The ride takes 30 minutes approx. and will cost around 25 Eur.
Tres Cantos is reached by train through
suburban train lines C10 or C7
(see
the map). Frequency: every 15 minutes for both lines from Nuevos
Ministerios Train Station to Tres Cantos Train Station

).
Ticket price (4 zones) 1,51 Euro, voucher (10 tickets) 12,36 Euro.
To reach Nuevos Ministerios take the Metro at the airport, it goes directly
to Nuevos Ministerios train station. A one-way from the airport costs about
1 Euro.
Although every participant should arrange the accommodation on his/her own,
we recommend to take accommodation in Tres Cantos.
